About us
Nerocaliente is an independent editorial project dedicated to the world of quality coffee. It was born from a passion for espresso, for the origins of the bean and for the culture surrounding the cup, with one simple goal: to tell the story of coffee in a competent, verified and accessible way — from the newcomer to the experienced barista.
How we work
Every guide, recipe and review on Nerocaliente comes from research and hands-on testing. We brew with each method ourselves (moka pot, espresso, V60, AeroPress, French press, cold brew), measure doses, times and ratios, and compare the results before writing. On technical topics — pre-infusion, coffee-to-water ratio, under- and over-extraction, channeling, roast profiles — we rely on recognised sources from the specialty community and on daily practice, not on clichés.
Our content is kept up to date: when a method evolves or new information emerges, we revise published articles to keep them accurate.
